About Warminster School
Warminster School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 3 to 18. Founded in 1707, the school holds charitable status and is overseen by a board of governors. It comprises a nursery, pre-prep, prep school and senior school on adjoining sites, with five single-sex boarding houses offering flexible and full-time boarding for junior and senior pupils. The school aims to develop and nurture rounded individuals with a love of learning and strong moral values, within a supportive and inspiring community. Pupils come from a range of professional backgrounds, mostly from white British families living within a 30-mile radius of the school, and around one in five pupils are from overseas, with 30 nationalities represented. The school welcomes pupils with a variety of needs and abilities. It has identified pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, including dyslexia and dyspraxia, and provides additional specialist support for many of them. Specialist and classroom teachers also support pupils for whom English is an additional language.
