About St George's College, Weybridge
St George's College Weybridge is an independent co-educational Roman Catholic day school for pupils aged 11 to 18. Founded in Croydon in 1869 by the Congregation of Josephites, the school moved to its present location in 1884. Originally a boys' boarding school, it became a day school in 1992 and fully co-educational in 1998. The school is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. Rooted in Josephite traditions, the school fosters a strong sense of family in which every pupil is valued and encouraged to reach their potential within an atmosphere of mutual respect and compassion. The school aims to educate minds, expand hearts and empower lives, nurturing quietly confident individuals with a genuine love of learning. Pupils come from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds, representing a number of nationalities. The school welcomes pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities and provides additional specialist support where needed, ensuring that all members of the community are well supported throughout their time at the college.
