About St Crispin's School
St Crispin's School is a co-educational day school situated in the Stoneygate area of Leicester. Founded in 1945 and having merged with a nearby school in 1990, it has a long-established presence in the local community. The school is made up of three sections: an Early Years Foundation Stage for children aged three to five, a prep school for Years 1 to 6, and a senior school for Years 7 to 11. The school aims to nurture curiosity and independence in every pupil, fostering a genuine passion for learning within a close-knit, family environment. It works to develop each child's full potential, helping them grow into happy, well-rounded individuals who are prepared and inspired for the road ahead. Pupils come from Leicester and the surrounding area, reflecting the cultural diversity of the local community. The school supports pupils with a range of needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities such as dyslexia and dyspraxia, and provides additional specialist help where appropriate. A small number of pupils hold an education, health and care plan or have English as an additional language.
