About RGS Worcester
The Royal Grammar School Worcester is an independent co-educational day school with roots stretching back to the 7th century. The school brings together RGS Worcester for pupils aged 11 to 18, and two preparatory schools, RGS The Grange and RGS Springfield, catering for children from age 2 to 11. RGS Springfield and RGS Worcester sit close to one another near the city centre, while RGS The Grange is located two miles to the north. All schools share the same governing body, which also acts as trustees for the charity. The school aims to provide a well-rounded education that nurtures character, intellect, physical and emotional well-being, and cultural understanding. It seeks to be a community where every individual is valued and supported to reach their potential. Pupils come from a range of professional and ethnic backgrounds, with most families living in Worcester and the surrounding area. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, those for whom English is an additional language, and those who are more able or who show particular talents, with individualised support provided where appropriate.
