About Kerem School
Kerem School is a non-selective Modern Orthodox, Jewish Zionist day school for pupils aged 3 to 11, situated within the Hampstead Garden Suburb United Synagogue. Founded in 1948, the school has remained on the same site ever since and operates as a registered charity, overseen by a board of governors. The school is organised into two departments: the Early Years Unit for children aged three to five, and the main school for pupils aged five to eleven. The school is committed to helping every child grow as an individual and reach their full potential, whilst also making a positive contribution to the school and wider community. It aims for pupils to leave as confident, happy and motivated learners, ready to take their place as responsible British Jewish citizens. Pupils come from a range of professional and business backgrounds, and the school is well set up to support its diverse community of learners. Specialist help is available for those with special educational needs and disabilities, and the curriculum is adapted for pupils identified as most able, as well as for those with particular talents in areas such as music, drama, sport and art. Support for English as an additional language is also available for those who need it.
