About Immanuel School

Immanuel School is an independent co-educational school set in open countryside on the outskirts of Romford, in Essex. Founded in 1980 as a mission of Immanuel Church, the school has a close relationship with the church, whose chair of trustees also serves as chair of governors. The school aims to prepare and educate young people from a biblical worldview, working in partnership with parents to equip pupils emotionally, spiritually, intellectually, and socially. Its vision is to see pupils thrive in their studies as part of a broader process of personal and spiritual development. Pupils are drawn from Christian families in the local area and represent a broad range of abilities in line with national averages. Class teachers provide support for the small number of pupils identified as having special educational needs and/or disabilities, ensuring every child's needs are met within the classroom.
