About Hallfield School

Hallfield School is an independent co-educational day school for boys and girls aged between three months and eleven years. Founded in 1879, the school has been governed by the Hallfield School Trust since 1959. It is organised into two sections: the Pre-Prep, which includes Hallfieldfirst, the registered Early Years Foundation Stage setting for children between three months and two years, and The Prep for pupils aged seven to eleven. The school aims to provide a safe, caring, happy and high-achieving culture grounded in Christian principles, whilst welcoming children of all faiths and none. It seeks to nurture a love of learning in every child and to help each pupil reach their academic, cultural and sporting potential, while also developing the social and emotional qualities needed to become resilient, courteous and compassionate members of a community. Pupils come from a range of professional backgrounds, mostly from British Indian, British Pakistani and white British families, the majority of whom live within a 12-mile radius of the school. The school supports pupils with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities, and adapts its curriculum for those identified as more able.
