About Grantham Preparatory International School
Grantham Preparatory International School is an independent co-educational day school, founded in 1981 and operated by A for E Ltd, a subsidiary of International Education Systems (IES) Ltd, which has schools in the UK and overseas. The school is overseen by a board of directors and benefits from group academic leadership based in Sweden. The school aims to nurture and inspire its pupils to become independent, confident individuals who value tolerance and respect and strive to do their best in everything they undertake. It seeks to offer the best opportunities for all through a broad and balanced curriculum. Pupils come from a range of backgrounds, mostly from families in Grantham and the surrounding area. The school is attentive to the needs of all its learners, providing specialist support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, additional help for those for whom English is an additional language, and tailored extension work and booster sessions for its more able pupils, as well as support for those with particular talents in sport.
