About Edgeborough School
Edgeborough is a co-educational day and boarding preparatory school for pupils aged 2 to 13, set on its current site in Frensham, Farnham. The school was originally founded in Guildford in 1906 and moved to Frensham in 1939. It became an educational charitable trust in 1965 and has been fully co-educational since 1992, when its Nursery and pre-preparatory school opened. A board of governors oversees the management of the school. At Edgeborough, children are encouraged to treat others as they would wish to be treated themselves, to do their best, and to grow into well-mannered and balanced young people. Pupils are supported to embrace opportunities and to see mistakes as a natural part of learning. Most pupils come from British families living close to the school. The school supports pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, and speech and language difficulties, as well as pupils for whom English is an additional language. More able pupils are offered enrichment and extension activities to provide additional challenge.
