About Crackley Hall School

Crackley Hall School is an independent day school for boys and girls aged between 2 and 11 years. It is part of the Princethorpe Foundation, which also includes Princethorpe College and the Crescent School, offering continuous education from Nursery through to sixth form. The Foundation aims to create a caring Christian environment where pupils can grow into well-educated, articulate young people with a true sense of values and purpose. The school has an interesting history, having originally been a girls' Catholic school known as St Joseph's Convent before merging with Princethorpe College in 2001 and later with Abbotsford School in Kenilworth in September 2010. In more recent years, the school has added new classrooms, a school hall, and facilities for learning support, art, music, and design and technology, as well as extending its Nursery provision to run 51 weeks a year. Mandarin and outdoor learning have also been introduced to the curriculum. Pupils come from a range of professional, business, and cultural backgrounds, living within a 15-mile radius of the school. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, those for whom English is an additional language, and those identified as particularly able or with special talents in sport, music, and the performing arts.
