City of London School is an independent day school for boys aged 10 to 18, situated in purpose-built accommodation in the heart of the City of London, close to St Paul's Cathedral. The school has a long history, having first been founded in 1442, and is part of the Family of Schools overseen by the City of London Corporation. The school aims to provide a strong academic education within an atmosphere that values individuality. It seeks to help pupils flourish and become the best version of themselves, whilst developing a sense of responsibility towards wider society. The school hopes to nurture pupils who are respectful, optimistic, and curious, and who are well prepared for the demands of the twenty-first century. Pupils come from across London and the surrounding counties, and reflect the diverse social backgrounds and ethnicities of the region.
