About Ashbridge Independent School
Ashbridge Independent School is a co-educational day school founded in 1995, which moved to its current home in 2001. The school serves children from nursery age upwards, drawing pupils from a range of professional and business backgrounds in the local area and beyond. The school is owned by Ashbridge School Ltd, whose directors oversee its governance. The school aims to lay the essential foundations for each child's future, supporting academic success alongside the nurturing of self-confidence and a positive outlook on life. It seeks to recognise and encourage individual talents and abilities, and is committed to every child's right to learn, be happy, be safe, and be themselves. The school's sites offer a variety of learning environments, including a pre-school play village, an arts workshop, a junior library, a low ropes course, and an outdoor park with a climbing area. Children across the school and its nurseries are supported according to their individual needs, whether that involves special educational needs and disabilities, English as an additional language, or additional challenge for the most able pupils. Specialist staff and classroom teachers work together to ensure every child receives the support they need.
