ACS Hillingdon International School is a co-educational day school founded in 1978, welcoming pupils aged 4 to 18. The school is organised into two sections: the Early Childhood and Lower School for pupils aged 4 to 10, and the Upper School for pupils aged 11 to 18. It operates as a charitable trust, overseen by a board of trustees. The school aims to build the knowledge, understanding, skills and dispositions that prepare students to make a difference, supporting them to become effective learners, confident individuals and caring contributors. In recent years the school has introduced additional curriculum pathways and developed new facilities, including those for science and technology, alongside a digital learning strategy. The school community is wonderfully diverse, with 54 different nationalities represented among pupils, the largest groups coming from the USA and the UK. Many families are with the school for three years or fewer owing to parents' work commitments, giving the community a truly international character. Pupils are of mixed ability, though generally above average. The school identifies and supports pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as those who speak English as an additional language, ensuring every child receives the help they need to thrive.
